Buy a Friends bench to support CTL!
Bench sales have begun through the Friends of Charles Towne Landing! This fundraising project was cultivated from one of the basic needs of the park: more sitting areas. The benches serve two purposes: with such an emphasis on the walking tour at CTL, the park must have adequate seating for tired legs and feet; and, encouraging the guests to sit in well-placed benches (i.e. near the lagoons, looking out at the Ashley) completes the visit that the CTL staff is creating for the guests. After all, one cannot fully experience the tranquility of the site without sitting for a bit and hearing the breeze lace through the oaks.
